Focus on home hygiene in developing countries

This paper evaluates the various aspects of home hygiene including handwashing, household water treatment and safe storage, safe disposal of faeces, food hygiene etc in terms of their health impact in reducing the burden of gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases in developing countries. The paper was presented at the Global Sustainable Health conference, Bonn 2007.
