Consensus statement: home hygiene and the prevention of infectious disease in developing countries: a responsibility for all

In 2002, IFH held its second international conference in Delhi, India. Entitled “Preventing infectious disease in the domestic setting: a responsibility for all”, the conference focused on the importance of developing programmes in which education in good hygiene practice is integrated with provision of clean water, food, sanitation etc. This document represents the major conclusions from the conference and the recommendations for priority actions.
