e-Bug European Teaching Resource on Hygiene for Primary and Secondary Schools

e-Bug is a new, free, pan-European resource for young people and teachers that covers micro-organisms, the basic principles of hygiene, food hygiene, respiratory hygiene, hand hygiene and sexual hygiene. It also includes sections on antibiotic use and vaccines. It is intended for classroom use and provides activities and lesson plans.

Each section of e-Bug contains detailed lesson plans for teachers and activity student worksheets suitable for classroom work. The e-Bug website also has various downloadable animations and presentations available to assist with the more difficult aspects of microbiology.
