Ounce of Prevention Campaign

The “Ounce of Prevention” campaign was created by the National Center for Infectious Diseases, Coordinating Center for Infectious Diseases of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in partnership with Reckitt Benckiser, Inc. The resource is aimed at giving health educators and consumers information as well as practical and useful tips on preventing infectious diseases. The campaign&;s goal is to provide resources about hand washing, cleaning and disinfection, as well as other, easy-to-follow steps, in an effort to develop and maintain successful hand hygiene and cleaning practices. The campaign is aimed at educating a broad consumer and professional audience.
