Keeping it clean – a study of the domestic kitchen.

This study confirmed the great potential for indirect and direct cross-contamination in the domestic kitchen. An assessment of kitchen cleanliness and the condition of equipment and surfaces used in food preparation showed a wide variation in hygiene standards.
